I've a thing for them too :)
In that picture, he's just over two. He's currently 6. The puppy in the gallery pictures with him is currently almost three, here's what he looks like grown:

http://www.rebelridgekuvasz.com/EFamily08.html

Duke is Oz' nephew. The Border Grrrrl in the gallery is twelve. She raises all the Big White Dog puppies around here. She tolerates precisely zero shit from BWDs, grown or puppy. It is an interesting dynamic, my backyard. 3 BWDs are consderably less trouble than one dedcated Border Collie, even a matronly one of 12.

My avatar is a sketch Kit Seaton the kid's book illustrator did of Oz several years back. She has space on Deviant Art.

After a bit of very odd happenings, thank you Mule once more, I am her to make a post. *Waves* Name's Xanthe, just a friendly Mare is all, I started watching Mule on FA as pages of "Little White packets" started showing up 'round there.

Wanna know something, ask me.

Cajun: A bastardization of Arcadian which refers to a people who left the Noertheastern American coast and relocated in the swamps of southern Louisiana. Of French origon. c.f Justin Wilson (Who wasn't one) and Raymond Begue (who is one). Almost extinct.

Coon - ass: The Louisana version of a redneck. No danger of extinction.

Southern Belle: A young woman of the Southeast who has certain knowledge, such as what fashions are appropriate both before and after Labor day; and who knows why Princess Margaret will never be a KKG.

...and then apparently I am the only new person to have introduced themselves in two years.

Goddamn good comic, this SLOP is. Just discovered it about a week ago and it's struck quite a chord with me. Anyways, the name's Agatha. And, uh...well, I don't really have much else to say. I'm really enjoying the comic and the universe it's in.

Might even draw some fancomics.

Hiyas Agatha. Welcome to whatever the group actually is, the common thread being fans of SLOP for one reason or another. As the first new introduction in two years, you win the Introductory Prize. You may choose between the Furlined Syrup Pitcher, and the Cut-Glass Flyswatter. Both items are best sellers at the General Merchandise store in scenic Ranger, Tejas.

Welcome

We'll need a shipping address of course.

Note: LittleJohn is teasing me, as I'm the one that bought the General Store in Ranger, TX last year.

Uncle.

I'm afraid I'm faaaar off from the south, up here in Wisconsin. XD Still, the sentiment is appreciated. Soon as I get my scanner to stop dying on me, I should be able to work up some artstuffs. One of my few talents.

Well howdy there, Agatha, and welcome to the forum. I'm so pleased to see a new face around here. The lack of fresh faces is mostly my fault. I don't update this comic like I should. Hope to change that soon. Anyway, welcome!

To paraphrase Clemens, one may belch, one may insult, one may piss in the soup even, but it is not done to fart at table. How did we get off on this anyway?

Farting at the table is a long-standing and much beloved Wisconsonian tradition. I blame our rigorous consumption of dairy products. Really gives the lactic acids a workout.

Not allowed in the circles in which I travel... which may have to do with the heavy consumption of pickled eggs, washed down with large quantities of beer. Protocal requires a minimum of three paces away from the dinner table before releasing, and the Truly Suave take them outdoors to enjoy their newfound freedom.

Welcome to the forum. I am really glad you're enjoying the comic so far. I would love to see what you think of each story and if you have any questions about each of them.

Welcome. I envy anyone who can draw something well enough for others to understand it. Ad your stuff is good. Ray Sawyer parleyed the eyepatch into success, surely you will also.

Tulsa is a bit too Flatlander for me. My comfort zone of weather is fairly narrow, I guess. Hate snow and ice. One day, fine, but if it hangs around for days/weeks/months,

*Goes postal*

Lived in each of the 4 states near here, K.C. is too damn cold, and the people injured my animals. Goodland, KS-- Well, I guess Kansas doesn't really exist; I swear there's nothing there. It's decent here, AR too; the largest nearby town is in AR. I physically need green trees and brush, hills, gullies, creeks or I'll go mad. Mad, MAD, I say!!

*Dancing with Danes*

Umm, OK; Bye.

that end of AR is nice country. Ibecome amillionaire, I'm gonna go hide arounds Yellville or someplace in the Ouachitas. When I was in Tulsa, used to run down toHot Springs for a year to the AF guard unit there. And had the bumper sticker, "Pray for me, I drive US 71".

Welcome anyway

Yeah, I see that. 71 isn't as bad as it used to be in MO now. Lot of it's 4-lane. Good toward Joplin esp. Bit crappy near the border, tho', seems more like a donkey trail farther down.
Thanks!

Regular monthly trip was Tulsa to Fart Smith and then down 71 to Y city - Mena, then across to Hot Springs. Beautiful ride, but no way will you make time on it, it's seriously crooked.

Ohhhhhh GAWD !!!
What a DEEPLY therapeutic cast of characters here. They handle life in such a satisfying manner.
*Sorely tempted*

Software hates me. Not in the usual sense; more like every so often it grabs me unsuspectingly by the balls and drags me under the table and just whips the bloody hell out of me for hours. Starting 9 AM yesterday,

Umm, OK, >erk<
*Better judgement prevails*

Nonspecific, sanitized, generic RANT !!!

Whole day SHOT TO HELL,

*Barely contained reaction to stupid business call*

Unfortunately, the phone wire is WAY too skinny for me to render the assistance they deserve.
The entire day, not counting critter chores done after dark, is a mind-wreck that follows you to bed where you don't sleep.

Let's handle things the Pig's way.........

All better now!
